Job summary

Tecta America New England is hiring a Commercial Roofing Lead Service Technician for Portland, ME. You will install, maintain and repair commercial roofs such as EPDM, TPO and PVC under a Foreman, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Starting pay for Lead Service Tech is $28+ per hour, BOE, plus a sign-on bonus up to $1500. We offer full-time, year-round work with benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience preferred; training available.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines on job sites.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC).
• Work under the Foreman to complete roofing tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain workmanship quality and adhere to company safety policies.

Lead Service Technician Pay starting at $28+/hr. BOE

Experienced Pay starting at $25+/hr. BOE

SIGN-ON BONUS!!! Up to $1500!!!

This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, skills, training and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits and other forms of compensation.

Commercial Roofing Lead Service Tech Summary

Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

Commercial Roofing LeadService Tech Requirements

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals!
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
