Job summary

MEJA Construction is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Commercial Roofing Manager to oversee multiple roofing projects, ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget control.

The ideal candidate knows BUR/modified roofing, EPDM, TPO, PVC, standing seam, can read blueprints, supervise crews, coordinate with superintendents and clients, and uphold OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years overseeing commercial roofing projects.
• Strong knowledge of BUR/modified roofing and single-ply systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC).
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and project specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple commercial roofing projects to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective completion.
• Review scopes, plans, and specs; collaborate with superintendents and PMs to resolve issues.

Job Summary

MEJA Construction is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Commercial Roofing Manager with a strong sense of integrity and a solid work ethic. This role oversees multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and extensive knowledge of BUR/modified roofing, single-ply systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC), and standing seam metal roofing.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight and Coordination:
  • Oversee multiple commercial roofing projects to support safe, timely, and cost-effective completion.
  • Review and understand each project’s scope of work, plans, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to resolve project issues.
  • Communicate with supervisors, vendors, inspectors, and other stakeholders to support project execution.
• Materials and Technical Requirements:
  • Procure materials and equipment for projects and track usage at job sites.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications and stay informed about relevant roofing products and services.
  • Maintain current knowledge of design requirements, applicable building codes, and materials to ensure crews follow architectural plans.
• Project Communication and Closeout:
  • Coordinate change‑order communication with field personnel and project stakeholders.
  • Review completed projects to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience overseeing commercial roofing projects.
• Strong knowledge of BUR/modified roofing, single-ply systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC), and standing seam metal roofing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights as required by project demands.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices in commercial roofing.
