Job summary

Nations Roof is seeking a Commercial Roofing Lead Service Technician to support our Boston-area operations from the Westford, MA office. This full-time role focuses on inspecting roofs, diagnosing leaks, estimating small repairs, and performing warranted fixes on low-slope systems.

You will lead and train helpers, document daily work, and maintain safety standards while delivering high-quality service across EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR, and other roofing types in the region.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience with BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, coatings, and other low-slope roofing systems.
• Experience leading and training helpers in a small team environment.
• Ability to identify and solve technical roofing application and repair issues.
• Strong attention to detail with daily reporting and documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Willingness to learn and utilize company software and technology.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Greater Nashville area and surrounding communities as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine roof inspections and maintain manufacturer warranties.
• Diagnose and perform leak repairs on commercial and industrial roofing systems.
• Lead and train assigned helper(s) in proper repair techniques and small-scope construction activities.
• Work on a variety of commercial roof systems including EPDM, TPO, PVC, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), Modified Bitumen, and other low-slope roofing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and completed work.
• Represent Nations Roof professionally and interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers in an honest, ethical, and respectful manner.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Salary Range: $30.00 To $35.00 Hourly

Must have current residency in the greater Boston area (office is located in Westford, MA) for project work on existing buildings throughout the region. A valid driver's license is required, and commercial roofing experience in a Foreman, Lead, or Service Technician role is preferred.

Purpose

Hands-on, customer-focused professional responsible for surveying existing roof conditions, investigating and diagnosing leaks, providing accurate cost estimates for small-scope repair work, and performing warranted repairs on a variety of commercial roofing systems.
