Job summary

Tecta America New England is seeking a Commercial Roofing Lead Service Technician for our Portland, ME location. You will install, maintain, and repair commercial roofs (EPDM, TPO, PVC) under the Foreman’s direction, ensuring safety and quality on every project.

We offer a starting pay of $25+ per hour, potential for growth, and a2024 sign-on bonus up to $1500. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience preferred; training available for right candidates.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs regularly, 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines; maintain professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Commercial Roofing Lead Service Tech Summary

Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

Commercial Roofing LeadService Tech Requirements

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals!
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
