Job summary

Tecta America New England is hiring Commercial Roofers for Portland, ME. The production crews offer full-time, year-round work with opportunities for career advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay starts at $25+ per hour, DOE, with a sign-on bonus up to $1,500. Pre-employment background check and drug screen required. Local travel and safety-focused training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly, 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work safely and professionally.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, skills, training and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits and other forms of compensation.

Commercial Roofer Summary:
