Job summary

Fort Wayne Roofing, A Tecta America Commercial Roofing Company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Laborer to install and repair various roofing systems in outdoor environments. The role requires teamwork, safety adherence, and ability to lift heavy loads while working at heights.

The position entails climbing, manual labor, and following manufacturer guidelines to ensure quality and safety on every project. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial roofing experience and/or construction experience required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs using BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC or slope systems.
• Work safely and to manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with team in outdoor conditions.

Pay starting at $23/ HR

Commercial Roofing Laborer Summary

Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).

• Able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety

Requisitos Que Techadores Comercial

• Disfrutar trabajar en equipo al aire libre con la naturaleza
• Estar comodo trabajando en condiciones climaticas extremas
• Debe poder levantar mas de 50 libras regularmente. Agacharse repetidamente, subir escaleras y arrodillarse, Etc.
• Debe estar comodo con las alturas y estar en un techo
• Realizar trabajos de techado de acuerdo con las especificaciones del trabajo y siguiendo las reglas de seguridad.
• Debe tener al menos 18 años
• Licencia de conducir valida
• Conocimiento de los sistemas de techo, incluyendo EPDM, TPO,PVC, Y pendiente bajas. El conocimiento de estos sistemas es util pero no obligatorio.
• La experiencia anterior en techado o construccion residencial y/o comercial es una ventaja

• Entorno fisico: Ambiente de campo con exposicion a alturas, ruido y temperature
• Esfuerzo Fisico: Estar de pie mucho tiempo, caminar, subir escaleras. Levantamiento frecuente ect.
• Viajes: Mayormente local; hasta 1 hora de distancia
