Job summary

Fort Wayne Roofing, a Tecta America Commercial Roofing Company, is seeking Commercial Roofing Laborers for the Fort Wayne, IN area. Starting pay is $23 per hour, with opportunities to work on BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope roofing systems.

Candidates should be able to work in a team setting, tolerate outdoor conditions, lift 50+ lbs, and climb ladders up to 60 ft. Pre-employment background checks and drug screens are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial roofing experience and/or construction experience.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs with BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
• Work well in a team and outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Lift 50+ lbs repeatedly; climb ladders up to 60 ft; work on roofs.
• Follow manufacturer specs and maintain safety standards.

Commercial Roofing Laborer Summary

Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).

• Able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety

Commercial Roofing Laborer Requirements:

• 1 year of commercial roofing experience and/or construction experience
• 18 years of age or older

Requisitos que techadores comercial:

• La experiencia anterior en techado o construccion residencial y/o comercial es una ventaja

• Entorno fisico: Ambiente de campo con exposicion a alturas, ruido y temperature
• Esfuerzo Fisico: Estar de pie mucho tiempo, caminar, subir escaleras. Levantamiento frecuente ect.
• Viajes: Mayormente local; hasta 1 hora de distancia
