Job summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is currently seeking Commercial Roofing Laborers at our Akron, OH location.

Install and repair roofs with systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope. You will work in a team, outdoors in varying weather, and maintain safety with manufacturer specifications.

Requirements: 1 year of commercial roofing experience, 18+, valid driver's license, ability to pass background check and drug screen, and authorized to work in the United States.

• 1 year of commercial roofing experience
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs with commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles)
• Work well in a team setting
• Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling
• Climb ladders up to 60 ft and be on a roof while performing work to manufacturer specifications with attention to safety

Roofing Laborer Summary

Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).

• Able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety

Roofing Laborer Requirements
