JB Roofing, a Tecta America commercial roofing company, is seeking Roofing Laborers in Akron, OH. The role involves installing and repairing roofs using BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope materials.

You will work outdoors in various weather, lift 50+ lbs, and climb ladders up to 60 ft, following safety guidelines. Requirements include 1 year of commercial roofing experience, 18+ years old, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs with a range of commercial roofing systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC).
• Work safely in a team, outdoors, in variable weather, and lift up to 50 lbs, including climbing ladders up to 60 ft.

Roofing Laborer Summary

Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).

• Able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety

Roofing Laborer Requirements

• 1 year of commercial roofing experience
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen
• Authorized to work in the United States

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
