Essential Functions

• Coordinate with crew members, superintendents, and project managers to manage scheduling, scope of work, and daily jobsite activities, including communicating any scope changes before execution.
• Lead and support crew performance and development, ensuring productivity, accountability, and proper time tracking while resolving any timesheet discrepancies.
• Document daily jobsite activity including production, quality control, and jobsite updates through accurate daily logs.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and other trades to resolve issues and keep work progressing smoothly.
• Manage jobsite readiness, materials, and equipment, including weather monitoring, end‑of‑day job protection, inventory coordination, and proper maintenance/storage of tools, vehicles, and trailers.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and jobsite compliance while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
• Maintain project schedules and production goals to ensure projects stay on time and within labor hour targets.
• Participate in pre‑construction meetings and job walkthroughs to ensure clear project expectations and alignment before work begins.

Required Skills and Abilities

• OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred); able to obtain required equipment operation certifications.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for military and secured job sites.
• Familiar with SMACNA standards and construction best practices.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, site plans, and specifications.
• Strong leadership & communication skills.
• Solid critical thinking, problem‑solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, hard‑working, with a willingness to learn new systems.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 3 years construction experience.
• Minimum 3‑5 years roofing specific experience.
• Experience working with TPO, EPMD, Modified Bitumen, metal roofing, coping, and the above listed materials.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program.
• Willing to travel.
• Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights).
• Frequently lift and carry 50 lbs or greater.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, walking.
• Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day).
