Job summary

Hi-Peak Staffing seeks an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator for Omaha, NE to review drawings, prepare detailed takeoffs, estimates and proposals, and support projects from bidding through pre-construction.

The role requires knowledge of roofing materials, costs, and estimating processes, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and CAD-related tools; industry experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial roofing estimating or construction estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and plans.
• Strong understanding of materials, labor, and project costs.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and documents to determine scope.
• Perform detailed takeoffs for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and bid pricing.
• Set up estimates and maintain estimating data in company systems.
• Prepare and submit proposals for new projects and change orders.
• Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings as needed.
• Coordinate drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
