Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced roofing estimator to join our Harper, TX operations. The role involves estimating commercial roofing, waterproofing, and facade projects, plus providing in-house support to operations and project management.

You will coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors and vendors, using Edge Estimating Software to prepare accurate bids. The ideal candidate has strong budgeting, communication, and scheduling skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial roofing & waterproofing estimating.

Experienced roofing & waterproofing estimator highly qualified to perform estimating and in house support of operations of roofing/facade/waterproofing services company including all aspects of project management and communication with project superintendents/foremen, multiple subcontractors, vendors, as well as owners, consultants and other members of management team. Specific duties include attending job site pre-bid meetings, bringing field information back to the office and estimating the project using Edge Estimating Software, coordinating the ordering & delivery of materials for projects, scheduling & overseeing preconstruction meetings with owners, consultants, and subcontractors, performing weekly job site quality & safety inspections on an as needed basis, preparing weekly project reports including pictorial documentation, and managing job projection & budget.

Qualifications

• Strong construction estimating skills with specific experience in commercial roofs and building envelope systems.
• 5 years' experience in commercial roofing & waterproofing is a must and experience in Edge Estimating Software is a plus. Some travel.
• Proficiency in budgeting and cost analysis to develop accurate, competitive proposals.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with project management, field teams, vendors, and clients.
• Basic to intermediate project management abilities to support scheduling, coordination, and resource planning.
• Familiarity with roofing materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency using estimating software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
• Commitment to safety practices, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience in commercial roofing or construction estimating, relevant certifications or training are a must.
