A reputable roofing company in Georgia is seeking a Service Foreman to manage a crew for servicing clients and inspecting roofs. The ideal candidate will have commercial roofing experience, the ability to enforce safety procedures, and excellent customer communication skills. Responsibilities include training Roofers and ensuring timely service. This role offers competitive compensation based on experience, with a Monday to Friday schedule and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial roofing maintenance.
• Ability to manage crews and communicate with customers.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Motor vehicle records check is required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines and CPR/First Aid.
• Travel out of town is required from time to time.
• Must know how to install all roofing systems, properly and safely (BUILD UP, EPDM, TPO, PVC and sheet metal work)
• Must know basic computers and cell phone usage. (FCS software user is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Run a crew to service clients effectively.
• Inspect and maintain roofs for multiple clients.
• Perform and enforce safety procedures.
• Provides safety and roofing training to Roofers including all Roofer’s duties
• Be on time, be responsible and be reliable.
• Others as needed and directed by Supervisor.

We run a 24/7 shop as a service department, that means we respond to emergency calls after hours and on the weekends. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in commercial roofing maintenance, managing crews, safety requirements and customer communication.
