Job summary

Empire Roofing, A Tecta America Company, is seeking commercial roofers in Sunrise, FL to install, maintain and repair EPDM, TPO and PVC roofing systems under the Foreman's direction.

Applicants should have 2+ years of commercial roofing experience, be able to lift 25+ lbs regularly, work outdoors in varying weather, and possess strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs regularly and 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines; maintain professionalism.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair EPDM, TPO & PVC roofing systems under Foreman supervision.

Commercial Roofer Summary:

Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

Commercial Roofer Requirements:

• 2+ year of Commercial roofing experience
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
