D. C. Taylor Co. is seeking a Commercial Roof Technician in Barrington, IL. You will participate in all aspects of roofing from tear-off to repair, working with a crew to install systems including TPO, PVC, and EPDM.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, equipment maintenance, and daily two-way communication with supervisors. Travel may occur for project timelines and site coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of performing strenuous physical activity relative to tear-off, carrying, and disposing of roofing materials.
• Must be computer literate.
• GED level reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with crew to remove and install commercial roofing systems safely and efficiently.
• Inspect safety equipment daily and follow all company safety procedures.
• Keep roof and staging areas clean and organized; participate in weekly safety and progress meetings.
