Job summary

BlueTeam is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator who thrives in a collaborative estimating team. You will partner with field operations, project management, and vendor networks to refine pricing, sourcing, and delivery.

Travel to evaluate jobsite conditions and vet subcontractors is part of the role. You will bring strong estimating skills, fluency with industry tools, and the ability to extract pricing from vendors when scopes are unclear.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent field experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial renovation estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specs.
• Experience with PlanSwift, STACK, ProEst, OST or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs and estimates for interior and exterior renovations.
• Evaluate drawings, narratives, specs, and site photos.
• Develop estimates using templates and software tools.
• Coordinate with field personnel to confirm logistics, phasing and risk.
• Lead subcontractor/vendor outreach for pricing and scope clarification.
• Prepare pre-bid packages and support bid communications.
