Job summary

Regions Bank in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Commercial Relationship Manager I to deliver tailored client solutions across a broad product range for a geographic area, primarily serving clients with revenues up to $20MM.

You will identify strategy for high-value retention and expansion, deliver advice-driven solutions, and work with partners to optimize revenue opportunities. This role is exempt from overtime and eligible for incentive plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in Commercial Banking or 4+ years in related financial services.
• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years in Commercial Banking or 8+ years in related financial services.
• Experience handling complex client transactions and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationship strategy for high-value retention and expansion clients.
• Provide knowledgeable advice and solutions to Commercial Bank clients.
• Proactively identify client needs and coordinate with business partners.
• Manage end-to-end transaction processes from engagement to close, including pricing and compliance.
• Demonstrate credit acumen and pricing discipline.
• Contribute to standardized Relationship Management processes and training.

Job Description:

At Regions, the Commercial Relationship Manager I focuses on the delivery of tailored client solutions across a broad range of products and services within a dedicated geographic area and primarily targets clients generally with revenues up to $20MM.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identifies, prioritizes and develops relationship strategy for high-value retention / expansion clients and acquisition targets
• Delivers knowledgeable advice and solutions, institutionalizes client relationships, and optimizes revenue opportunities to the Commercial Bank
• Isolates current and emerging client needs and proactively introduces solutions
• Identifies and works with relevant business partners in a team-based delivery model
• Plans and executes quality client/prospect calls, centered around advice-driven delivery
• Manages transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including structure, pricing, internal approval / compliance processes and documentation
• Exercises credit acumen and pricing discipline
• Develops consistent practices learned through the Relationship Management Process and relevant credit training

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years experience in Commercial Banking or four (4) years experience in closely related client-facing financial services
• Or High school diploma or GED and six (6) years experience in Commercial Banking or eight (8) years experience in closely related client-facing financial services

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$91,754.36 USD

Median:

$112,413.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
