Job Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, lighting, energy management, and hardware systems in assigned stores.
• Plan, generate work orders, and ensure timely completion with proper tools, equipment, and materials, adhering to EPA regulations.
• Inspect and evaluate store areas, suggest improvements, and perform troubleshooting and repairs on refrigeration, ice machines, air conditioning, heating, etc.
• Advise store managers and maintenance supervisors on repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed, utilize safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and communicate building operation status to stakeholders.
• Update control set-points and troubleshoot electrical controls.
• Analyze mechanical operations of refrigeration and HVAC units.
• Assist in repairs of electrical and building components, including doors and closures on refrigerated cases.
• Manage Refrigeration/HVAC expenses, including repairs and refrigerant leak rates.
• Respond to work requests and emergency calls, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• EPA Universal Certification
• State licenses, if required
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy weights (up to 100 lbs. with assistance)
• Availability for after-hours and emergency calls
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned region using a company vehicle
