Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing commercial refrigeration equipment preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in confined or temperature-controlled spaces.
• HVAC/R schooling or technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical problems.
• Service walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, display cases, ice machines, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, controls, and refrigeration components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Communicate repair recommendations and equipment conditions to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours service calls when scheduled.
