Job summary

AHT Cooling System USA is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Technician for installation and repairs in our Florida service area. This contractor role offers competitive pay at $3,900 per week (1099).

You will install, program, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems, review project scopes, and develop training materials for internal and external use. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years HVAC/R experience with HFC & CO2, reads schematics, and is comfortable traveling up to 90%.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent; 5–7 years HVAC/R experience with HFC & CO2.
• Certified in refrigerants preferred; read and use drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Willing to travel up to 90% and possess valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in installation, programming, and equipment protocols.
• Troubleshoot and repair heat pump issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop technical training modules and review project scopes for accuracy.
• Work with contractors to ensure store meets operational standards.
• Perform system energy analysis and provide parameter adjustments where needed.
