Job summary

Buchalter LLP is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support our Atlanta, Chicago, or Nashville offices. The ideal candidate holds an ABA-approved paralegal certification and has extensive experience in commercial real estate law within a law firm environment.

You will prepare contracts, closing documents, perform due diligence, coordinate closings, and help manage title and registry filings while coordinating between buyers and sellers’ counsel in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ABA-approved paralegal certification is required.
• Extensive experience in commercial real estate law in a law firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contracts, including lease or rental agreements and closing documents.
• Obtain, prepare and file various documents, certificates and forms.
• Form LLCs and other entities; perform UCC and other searches.
• Prepare closing checklists and transactional documentation from LOI to closing.
• Participate in and attend closings; obtain Registry of Deeds documents.
• Review due diligence materials and facilitate communication between buyers and sellers’ counsel.
• Negotiate contracts; review title reports; monitor financial transactions.
