Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

We are a Renewable Infrastructure investment firm that has been investing in Real Estate and renewable infrastructure for over 20yrs. We are growing rapidly and are looking to grow our team!

Position Overview

The Real Estate Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of real estate matters, including commercial real estate transactions, leasing, and environmental issues. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate law to effectively support the companys interests in property acquisition, development, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
• Negotiate and draft various real estate documents, such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, and closing documents.
• Advise on compliance with environmental regulations and land use laws.
• Assist in the management and resolution of real estate disputes and litigation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support real estate initiatives and strategies.
• Review and analyze real estate contracts and agreements to ensure they align with company objectives.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and trends in real estate law.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills in real estate contracts.
• Experience with solar, wind, and environmental law is a plus.
• Familiarity with lease administration and ground lease transactions is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
