Job summary

Serán BioScience in Bend, Oregon is expanding its GMP manufacturing footprint and seeks a Commercial QC Chemist II to support the start‑up lab and ongoing testing. You will perform finished product testing, in‑process control, stability, and raw material analyses, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role offers mentorship, cross‑functional collaboration, and opportunities to implement improvements in analytical methods and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s in a scientific discipline with hands-on lab experience.
• 1 year GMP lab experience preferred; experience in pharmaceutical QC testing preferred.
• Proven ability to manage investigations (OOS/OOT) and data integrity.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of commercial pharmaceutical products per cGMP.
• Demonstrate intermediate expertise with analytical equipment and techniques.
• Execute approved methods and SOPs in accordance with cGMP timelines.
• Ensure data integrity and proper documentation of results.
