Job summary

Reserv Claims Analysis, LLC is seeking a Property Claims Team Lead to guide a remote claims group and partner with a Claims Manager. You will oversee desk adjusters, drive efficiency through data analytics, and ensure accurate settlements while maintaining compliance.

In this role, you’ll balance leadership with hands-on claims work, mentor staff, and collaborate with Account Management, Compliance, and Claim Operations to resolve complex losses across diverse accounts, with nationwide coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in Property Claims; Lloyd’s experience preferred.
• 3+ years leadership, remote work experience.
• Active adjuster license; willing to obtain state licenses.
• Comfortable with technology and evolving claims systems.
• Strong integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.

About the role

As a Property Claims Team Lead at Reserv, you will be a working leader providing support to a Claims Manager with leadership and claim technical responsibilities. Leadership responsibilities will include overseeing work done within the Property Claims adjusting staff. We want your background and experience to deliver operational effectiveness, particularly in leveraging technology and analytics to drive better efficiencies and performance. You will serve a critical role with the team, the customers, and the client. This role will balance management responsibilities and individual contributor responsibilities when volume dictates the need for assistance with a claim.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple desk Claim Adjusters in a fully remote environment, overseeing a wide range of severity and frequency across diverse accounts.
• Be consistently dependable in achieving or exceeding goals and overcoming obstacles.
• Maintain best practices for handling, including: evaluation and settlement.
• Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvement.
• Align team with client and customer expectations of the loss and what to expect throughout the process.
• Serve as a resource for escalations.
• Responsible for accuracy and adequacy of all financials.
• Enforce strategies to mitigate fraud and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional growth and development.
• Execute on performance management; attract, hire, retain and provide high level of training.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Account Management, Compliance, and Claim Operations, to resolve complex or escalated loss-related issues.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, brokers, and legal representatives.
• Responsible for initial onboarding tasks / access and new hire cultural immersion
• Identify topics and trends to discuss in team Huddles and Elevated Claims Experience Workshops lead/co-lead by Team Leads, Managers, and other Reserv employees
• Customer Obsession Champions- Active advocates who help leadership cultivate a customer-centric mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPCU, AIC) are a plus.
• 5+ years in insurance claims experience in the Property Claims lines of business, preference for commercial and Lloyd’s of London Markets experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience with a preference for experience managing in a remote environment.
• Active adjuster license: resident-state license where available, otherwise a Designated Home State (DHS) license. Willing to obtain any additional required licenses within 60 days, including state testing.
• Comfortable with technology and the ability to evolve the claims systems and processes to drive better efficiencies and outcomes
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
