Job summary

CBRE is hiring a Property Manager in Atlanta to supervise the team handling all operational and financial activities for a large industrial and medical portfolio onsite in Atlanta. This role requires CRE experience across office, industrial and medical office sectors and a Georgia real estate license, with strong leadership and reporting skills.

You will develop annual operating and capital budgets, forecast plans, prepare monthly performance reports, and coordinate owner communications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience with office/industrial exposure.
  • Georgia real estate license is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to raised tenant needs and issues.
  • Perform financial reporting and lease abstracting.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Help create programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
  • Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
  • Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is timely.
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department goal dates. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own field and how own subject area integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

About The Role

As a CBRE Property Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a large industrial and medical portfolio in Atlanta.

This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

The role is onsite in Atlanta, GA USA.

  • The ideal candidate will have commercial real estate experience (office and/or industrial, as well as medical office.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience in commercial real estate and education will be considered.
  • Active Georgia real estate license is required.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
