Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance or a related skilled trade.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of maintenance methods, tools, equipment, and building systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs in a commercial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation, modification, and replacement of building equipment and systems.
• Complete work orders and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Repair and replace building finishes including ceiling tiles, door hardware, paint, wallpaper, and related building components.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety concerns and preventive maintenance needs.
• Maintain and operate fire alarm systems and other life safety equipment.
• Evaluate maintenance operations and recommend improvements, upgrades, and cost-saving initiatives.
