Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire an entry level Commercial Project Manager/Project Controller for our Projects and Innovation business under the Customer Service business unit to support exciting new projects. You will be fully accountable to the commercial and financial management through the project execution as you collaborate with internal and external partners. An ability to multi-task and handle challenging deadlines will be critical to the role.This role will be based in Sacramento, CA or Lexington, NC with a hybrid work schedule.
What your day-to-day will look like:
·Leading projects by creating bookings, setting up project WBS structure, budget, and monitoring project financial status based on planned delivery schedule·Perform financial planning, forecasting, controlling, and reconciliation of project cash flow and standard deviation analysis using SAP.·Implement and drive measures to improve project performance (claims management and variation management)·Monitor and communicate trends, assess implications, and develop practical strategies.·Lead the admin side of given projects such as invoicing, booking, and monitoring/controlling budget spending in procurement·Work with multi-functional teams (Project Managers, Legal, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, HR, etc.) to help them reach their financial goals and drive better efficiency and productivity on bids proposals and ongoing projects.·Recommend, implement, and report on financial and operating performance benchmarks.·Assist in producing and analyzing financial reports impacting the Company's performance.
To thrive in this role, you have:
·Bachelor's degree.·1+ year of validated experience with financial planning, accounting, and finance, with the ability to provide strategic insight through financial metrics.·Advanced analytical abilities, financial modeling, strong Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of ERPsystems, and strong business modeling skills.·Excellently demonstrated verbal and written communication skills while interacting at all levels of the organization.·Setting you apart from others would be a Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting and an MBA, or MS with manufacturing sector experience and exposure to general accounting and cost accounting. SAP would be a plus.

The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $80,600-$108,800 and in Lexington, NC is $73,200-$98,900.The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
