Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to drive the financial success of a $1.5 billion project portfolio. You will own forecasting, cost control, cash flow and risk management, partnering with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Legal and Finance to keep projects on target.

You will support contract administration, change orders and negotiations, identify financial risks and opportunities, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting preferred.
• 3+ years of Finance/Commercial Project Management experience including financial planning, accounting, and finance.
• Advanced analytical abilities, financial modeling, strong Excel, knowledge of ERP systems, and strong business modeling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Experience with SAP is a plus along with Siemens CPM certification (Level-C).

Responsibilities

• Support the CPM Director in commercial and financial management of a project portfolio valued at ~ $1.5 billion.
• Monitor and analyze costs, revenues, profitability, cash flow; prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and financial reports.
• Support contract administration, change orders, claims, and customer/supplier commercial negotiations.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities; contribute to risk and opportunity management and action plans.
• Own assigned project KPIs and commercial targets; coordinate with stakeholders to achieve financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance, and audit standards; keep projects audit-ready.
• Drive change management initiatives by assessing financial impacts and communicating them across stakeholders.
• Promote best practices in commercial project management, reporting, forecasting, and governance.
