Garden State Bins LLC is seeking a Fleet Wash Technician in Manalapan Township, NJ. This field role involves cleaning and sanitizing fleets, heavy equipment, and municipal assets, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Fleet-washing, pressure-washing, commercial cleaning, or related field experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Class A CDL is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform the physical duties of a field-service position.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Professional attitude and ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean commercial fleets, garbage trucks, heavy equipment, dumpsters, and other assets.
• Safely operate pressure-washing equipment and cleaning systems.
• Follow company procedures to ensure high-quality results.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in a safe condition.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site.
• Work independently and collaborate with team members.
• Complete work orders and daily activity reports on time.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or service problems to management.
• Represent Garden State Bins professionally at all times.

Position Summary

The Fleet Wash Technician is responsible for performing professional exterior cleaning and sanitation services for commercial fleets, heavy equipment, garbage trucks, dumpsters, and other commercial assets. This is a hands-on field position requiring reliability, attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and professional interaction with customers. Prior fleet-washing experience is preferred but is not required; Garden State Bins will train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Primary Responsibilities

• Wash and clean commercial truck fleets, garbage trucks, heavy equipment, dumpsters, and other commercial assets.
• Safely operate pressure-washing equipment and specialized cleaning systems.
• Follow established company procedures and service standards to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, work areas, and job sites in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers while on-site.
• Work independently when assigned and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Complete work orders, service documentation, and daily activity reports accurately and on time.
• Immediately report equipment issues, safety concerns, customer concerns, or service problems to management.
• Represent Garden State Bins in a professional manner at all times.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, lift, carry, and safely operate commercial cleaning equipment.
