[ABOUT THE ROLE]

At Istari Digital, we are a fast-growing SaaS infrastructure solutions provider for digital engineering in aerospace, defense, logistics, and security. We collaborate with large enterprises and public sector organizations to modernize and scale operational capabilities with innovative cloud technologies. We seek a Commercial Pre-Sales Solution Engineer with aerospace and defense industry experience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct pre-sales technical discovery to understand prospect environments, objectives, and technologies.
  2. Support sales with technical qualification and full-cycle technical assistance.
  3. Collaborate with customer success, product, engineering, and other teams to drive proof of concepts, installations, and integrations.
  4. Lead solution architecture, initial implementation, and integration of Istari software into customer environments.
  5. Create solution architectures, reference models, and quick-start programs for customers.
  6. Work with cybersecurity teams inside Istari and with customers to ensure secure solutions.
  7. Develop expertise in Istari technology and apply it effectively in customer settings.
  8. Develop best practices and workflows for presales engineering and integrate with post-sales processes.
  9. Provide feedback to product teams on customer needs and market trends.
  10. Manage third-party contractors and partners for successful implementations.
  11. Lead customer projects, managing resources for stable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably computer science.
  2. 10+ years in solution engineering within complex enterprise software sales environments.
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  4. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  5. Creative problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset.
  6. Proven success supporting sales teams to meet or exceed goals.
  7. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  8. Ability to operate with urgency, passion, and intensity.
  9. Expertise in enterprise software, SaaS, or Cloud solutions.
  10. Ability to work independently and in teams.
  11. Willingness to travel as needed.

$150,000 - $175,000 annually
