Job summary

Zions Bank in Downtown Salt Lake City is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to underwrite and manage a portfolio of commercial loan relationships. You will analyze financial statements, assess risk, and structure loans while maintaining strong client communication.

Role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–4+ years in credit lending or 5+ years related experience, with advanced Excel skills and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2–4+ years credit lending or 5+ years related experience preferred.
• Strong underwriting and credit analysis skills with focus on commercial lending.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial lending practices and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and banking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and service a portfolio of commercial loan relationships.
• Spread and analyze financial statements, assess industry risks, and structure loans.
• Provide loan reporting including past dues and collateral exceptions.
• Maintain strong customer service and clear communication with clients.
• Support Relationship Managers and Branch Managers with credit requests.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients on sensitive matters.
• Grow and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
