Job summary

Poolwerx is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to deliver consistent pool cleaning and maintenance, developing and maintaining a base of satisfied clients. Rate of pay depends on experience.

You will balance water chemistry, maintain pools, perform minor repairs, and document visits using our reporting app. This role requires 38–42 hours weekly and outdoor work in Florida heat.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of commercial pool service experience.
• Must be 21+ with a clean driving record.
• Professional appearance and mature attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat.
• Excellent customer relations and communication.

Responsibilities

• Check water chemistry and balance pool water with appropriate chemicals.
• Maintain pool cleanliness by brushing, vacuuming, netting, tile cleaning, and debris removal.
• Perform minor repairs and programming of pool equipment.
• Load vehicle with stock and record items removed from warehouse.
• Record all materials and products used on-site for invoicing.
• Identify and report maintenance problems or faults.
• Develop and nurture relationships with pool guests and on-site crews.
• Document visits via the company reporting system using a phone app.
• Update DOH logs.
• Maintain 6–10 pools 2–3 times per week.
• Work 38 to 42 hours per week, depending on pool conditions.

Job Summary

The Commercial Maintenance Technician will provide consistent quality pool cleaning and maintenance service, developing and maintaining a base of satisfied clients. Rate of pay depends on experience.

Responsibilities

• Check water chemistry and balance pool water through the addition of the appropriate chemicals
• Maintain pool cleanliness by brushing, vacuuming, netting, cleaning tiles, and emptying baskets of debris
• Perform minor repairs and minor programming of pool equipment
• Keep pool equipment area tidy and organized
• Loading vehicle with standard and out-of-ordinary stock. Ensure all stock removed from the warehouse is accurately recorded
• Record all materials and products used on-site for invoicing purposes
• Identify and report any maintenance problems or faults
• Develop and nurture customer relationships with pool guests and on site maintenance crews
• Document visits via the company reporting system using phone app
• Updating DOH logs
• Maintain 6-10 pools 2-3 times per week
• Expected workweek of 38 to 42 hours depending on the condition of your pools and your efficiency

Qualifications

• Must be MATURE minded and take your position seriously
• Must present themselves with a professional appearance.
• 6 months to 1 year minimum experience of COMMERICAL POOL SERVICE IS MANDATORY. Please DO NOT APPLY if you do not have at LEAST six months experience
• Have a great personality! Ability to work in public and speak respectfully and professionally
• Must the ability to START and HOLD conversations when necessary.
• Excellent customer relationship building and communication is a must
• Loves working outside
• Must be organized
• Must have availability to work Monday – Friday
• Must be over 21 with a clean driving record (no recent major accidents or infringements) due to company auto insurance requirements
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be capable of lifting to 50 lbs. plus and conducting physical labor in the Florida heat and weather
• Must have and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge and troubleshooting skills for:
• Feeder pump and controllers pump systems
• Various pump types (single and variable speed)
• Filtration systems (DE and Cartridge)
• Must be able to represent Poolwerx by having a positive attitude and working well independently while exhibiting team-oriented behavior to ensure consistent client satisfaction, resulting in repeat business and referrals.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred by not required
• Valid Driver’s License

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
