Job summary

Structured Trades is seeking a licensed plumber for commercial new construction and renovation projects in Austin, TX. The role involves inspecting and installing plumbing systems across multiple buildings, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with codes.

You will measure, cut, and assemble pipes using soldering/brazing techniques, and operate hand and power tools to complete installations and pass inspections.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in commercial new construction plumbing and/or renovation.
• Current state-issued apprentice or journeyman plumbing license.
• Hand tools required for plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plumbing and pipes
• Review blueprints and schematics; journeyman level efficiency
• Follow local and state plumbing codes
• Measuring, cutting and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures using mechanical solder, brazing and pipe joining methods
• Using hand, measuring and power tools common to the plumbing trade
• Ensure installed pipes and systems pass inspections
