Job summary
Downtown Boulder Partnership is seeking a Plumber/Pipe Fitter in Pittsburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various piping systems. This includes compliance with building codes and safety regulations, as well as experience in commercial plumbing and pipe fitting.
The role requires a valid Allegheny County Plumber's License and a minimum of seven years of experience. The position may involve responding to plumbing emergencies during flexible hours.
Qualifications
- Completion of an advanced vocational or apprenticeship program.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in commercial plumbing and pipe fitting.
- Valid Allegheny County Plumber's License required.
- Certification and experience in pipe welding, including backflow testing certification.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various piping systems.
- Cut, fit, bend, solder, weld, and install piping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Perform mandatory backflow preventer testing.
- Respond to plumbing emergencies on campus.
