Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a motivated Commercial Plumber Apprentice to support licensed plumbers on commercial job sites, assisting with installation, repair, and maintenance while learning industry best practices and safety standards.

You will learn to measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures, load and organize tools, follow blueprints, keep worksites safe, attend training, and develop trade skills toward a full plumbing career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation of commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, vent, and gas lines.

• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials on job sites.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and project plans as directed.

• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding as needed
