The Forward Deployment Product & Platform Engineer serves as the bridge between business outcomes, product strategy, and enterprise technology platforms. This role partners with business leaders, product managers, architects, and engineering teams to design, build, deploy, and scale platform-based solutions that solve real-world business problems while accelerating product adoption and value realization. The engineer combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to translate customer and stakeholder needs into scalable product capabilities, reusable platform services, and integrated enterprise solutions.
A bachelors degree is required. 8 years of relevant hands on IT experience with 3 years of people management experience. Development exposure to modern integration and cloud architectures (Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, SF Agentforce, SF Data 360, Integrations). Prior hands‑on experience with Python, Mulesoft, Apigee, Informatica, App Omni, DevOps - Bitbucket, Jenkins, AI - Azure Foundry, Amazon Bedrock and/or Google Vertex.
Prior knowledge and experience in the life sciences industry is preferred. Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities to improve products, processes, user experiences, and business outcomes.
Acts as the connective tissue between business strategy, product engineering, and platform operations, ensuring enterprise technologies are deployed, adopted, and scaled to deliver measurable business value.
