Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Forward Deployment Product & Platform Engineer to bridge business outcomes, product strategy, and enterprise technology platforms. You will partner with leaders, managers, architects, and engineering teams to design, build, deploy, and scale platform-based solutions that deliver measurable business value.

You will translate customer needs into scalable capabilities, drive platform adoption, and ensure security and reliability across enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in people management.
• Experience with modern integration and cloud architectures (Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, SF Agentforce, SF Data 360, Integrations).
• Hands-on experience with Python, Mulesoft, Apigee, Informatica, App Omni, DevOps - Bitbucket, Jenkins, AI - Azure Foundry, Amazon Bedrock and/or Google Vertex.

Job Description

The Forward Deployment Product & Platform Engineer serves as the bridge between business outcomes, product strategy, and enterprise technology platforms. This role partners with business leaders, product managers, architects, and engineering teams to design, build, deploy, and scale platform-based solutions that solve real-world business problems while accelerating product adoption and value realization. The engineer combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to translate customer and stakeholder needs into scalable product capabilities, reusable platform services, and integrated enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and desired outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into product features, platform capabilities, and solution architectures.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge and experience in the life sciences industry is preferred.
• Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities to improve products, processes, user experiences, and business outcomes.
