Job summary

Skilled Trades Services is seeking an experienced commercial pipefitter for a full-time project in the Rock Hill area. You will install, layout and assemble piping systems, including copper pipe and welded pipe up to 5 inches in diameter, to spec and on schedule.

The role requires a clean background, ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, reliable transportation, and availability Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay is $28-$30/hr DOE with equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Commercial pipefitting experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Clean background check required.
• Reliable transportation and Monday–Friday 40-hour availability.
• Ability to read prints and takeoffs; work with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe (up to 5") per drawings and codes.
• Install hangers/supports and verify slopes, elevations, and clearances.
• Work with foreman to stage materials and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Pressure test, troubleshoot, and finalize systems for inspection/turnover.
