Job summary

Crossing Hurdles seeks a Senior Flight Operations Expert for a contract role. The position is fully remote and paid hourly, offering $20–$60 per hour with flexible weekly commitments.

You will conduct detailed reviews of flight operations documentation, briefing instrument approaches, and assess regulatory compliance (Part 121/135). Strong communication and independent work are essential as you collaborate with coordinators remotely.

Qualifications

• Active or recently held pilot license (ATPL or CPL).
• 5+ years in flight operations as pilot or dispatcher.
• Experience briefing instrument approaches and interpreting documentation.
• Strong regulatory knowledge (Part 121/135).
• Analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfort working fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Review flight operations documentation in detail.
• Deliver concise briefings to support training.

Requirements

• Active or recently held Airline Transport Pilot License or Commercial Pilot License
• 5+ years of operational experience as a pilot or dispatcher
• Expertise in briefing instrument approaches and interpreting documentation
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including Part 121 and Part 135
• Analytical skills to assess operational risks and articulate solutions
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
