Job summary

Terminix is seeking a Commercial Pest Control Technician to perform pest management services for commercial clients. You will inspect properties, identify infestations, select treatments, and communicate solutions to clients. You’ll also drive a company vehicle and maintain equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and readiness to work Monday through Saturday when needed. Comprehensive benefits apply from day one.

Qualifications

• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to educate customers on pest prevention methods.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales, and expand product reach.
• Ensure pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.
