Job summary

Orkin is hiring for a Commercial Pest Control Technician to deliver top-tier service on a designated route. You will start with award-winning training and will operate a company vehicle with a gas card as you learn daily route management in a trusted, mission-driven company.

You will prioritize safety, meet with customers, and explain actions taken while pursuing opportunities to offer additional pest management services. A valid license is required within training terms.

Qualifications

• Paid Training Provided.
• Experience in skilled trades or service industry preferred.
• Experience in driving/route management preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Meet with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services for peace of mind.
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property and communicate actions taken to ensure satisfaction.
