Job summary

Rentokil North America is hiring a Commercial Pest Control Technician to perform pest management for commercial clients. You will inspect properties, identify infestations, apply treatments safely, and advise customers on prevention. The role requires a valid driver's license, strong communication, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in internal and external settings.
• Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm their appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers.
• Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
