Job summary

Medidata in New York City is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join the Commercial Partnerships team. You will evaluate licensing and partnership opportunities, conduct rigorous market analyses, and support our go-to-market strategy with partners.

This role requires 1–4 years of analytical/strategic experience, a quantitative degree (MBA preferred), excellent Excel and presentation skills, and the ability to translate data into clear, executive-ready narratives for senior

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field. MBA is highly preferred and can substitute for years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

Commercial Due Diligence: Analyze market, customer, and competitive trends to formulate a thorough view of the commercial merits of target investments.
Industry Deep-Dives: Gather and synthesize complex financial and operating data from target industries to establish deep investment perspectives.
Value Creation Strategies: Assist in developing growth and post-merger integration strategies and compelling presentations to maximize value from acquired assets and corporate initiatives.
Executive Support: Create high-impact presentation materials for use by the executive team, business unit leaders, and external stakeholders.
Program Management: Build operational structures, project plans, and alignment frameworks within large, multi-brand matrix organizations.
