Job summary

QuestMark Construction Services in Dallas–Fort Worth seeks an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join our growing Construction Services team. You will focus on estimating and securing commercial and industrial painting projects across Texas and nearby regions.

Responsibilities include takeoffs, pricing, subcontractor solicitations, and collaboration with GCs, owners, and architects. Occasional travel and a results-driven mindset are expected for project pursuit and turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial painting estimating experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Work directly with General Contractors, owners, architects, and project teams.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Assist with value engineering and scope reviews.
• Coordinate with project management during project turnover.
• Maintain bid schedules and proposal deadlines.
• Support business development and cultivate relationships with customers and industry partners.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally
