New Life Painting LLC in Maryland is seeking an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will analyze blueprints, perform accurate quantity takeoffs, prepare cost estimates, and develop competitive proposals for commercial painting projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, calculating labor and material costs, managing multiple estimates, and delivering timely bids while coordinating with general contractors and suppliers.

Formación

• Experience estimating commercial painting projects.
• Strong knowledge of painting applications and commercial construction.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specs.
• Experience with PlanSwift or Bluebeam.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and exterior commercial painting projects.

• Develop competitive bids and professional proposals for general contractors.
• Review project scope, specifications, and bidding requirements.
• Communicate professionally with general contractors, project managers, and suppliers.
• Request and evaluate material pricing from suppliers.
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting bid submission deadlines.
• Identify potential project challenges and cost considerations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction estimating, with the ability to analyze blueprints, perform accurate quantity takeoffs, prepare detailed cost estimates, and develop competitive proposals for commercial painting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, construction blueprints, and project specifications.
• Perform accurate material and labor quantity takeoffs for commercial painting projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and exterior commercial painting projects.
• Calculate labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
• Develop competitive bids and professional proposals for general contractors.
• Review project scope, specifications, and bidding requirements.
• Communicate professionally with general contractors, project managers, and suppliers.
• Request and evaluate material pricing from suppliers.
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting bid submission deadlines.
• Identify potential project challenges and cost considerations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience estimating commercial painting projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and painting applications.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar programs.
• Strong understanding of labor productivity, material quantities, and construction costs.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong professional communication and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. The ability to communicate professionally in both languages is a strong advantage.
