Job summary

re:fab is seeking an experienced Painter for subcontractor work on local commercial projects. You will read blueprints and project specs, apply coatings to walls and surfaces, and ensure the highest quality workmanship in alignment with plans and safety standards.

This role requires 2+ years of painting experience, own tools, insured truck or van, and OSHA 10. You will collaborate with estimating and operations teams, maintain daily logs, and contribute to long-term partnerships with re:fab.

Qualifications

• Professional painting experience (2+ years).
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and plans.
• Knowledge of commercial construction practices.
• Own tools + insured vehicle.
• OSHA 10 (required).
• Strong communication & customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Paint as per plans and project specifications.
• Read and work from blueprints, plans, and specs.
• Collaborate with estimating and operations teams.
• Cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials as needed.
• Maintain quality workmanship and adhere to safety procedures.
• Complete daily logs and project updates.
• Follow local building codes and company safety procedures.
