About The Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

1. Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
2. Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
3. Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
4. Review assigned work orders and track completion using available systems.
5. Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
6. Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
7. Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly and concisely.
8. Impact team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as described in detail.
9. Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under supervision.

What You’ll Need

1. High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma.
2. The ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
3. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
4. Effective communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
