Job summary

Parkway Family Auto Group is seeking a skilled General Painter to perform interior and exterior painting across dealership buildings and facilities. You will prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and maintain a clean, professional appearance throughout the properties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a painter on commercial or building projects.
• Experience with both interior and exterior painting preferred.
• Knowledge of paints, coatings, and application techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to work on lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
• Apply paint, stains, varnishes, sealers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and coverings.
• Mix and match paint colors to meet project requirements.
• Repair minor surface imperfections such as cracks, holes, or damaged drywall.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
• Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality and appearance standards.
