National Coatings is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead painting projects, oversee budgets, and ensure timely, high-quality execution. The role emphasizes profitability, stakeholder communication, and cross‑functional coordination with Superintendents and subcontractors.

Located in Asheville, the position requires strong organizational skills, proactive risk management, and a collaborative mindset to maintain top-tier client service and project outcomes.

Competenze

• 4+ years of experience in project management.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team player.
• Proficiency with construction management software is a plus (Outlook/Excel/Eclipse/Procore).

Mansioni

• Responsible for the financial health of assigned projects, ensuring profitability while meeting contractual obligations.
• Oversee project progress, identifying roadblocks and delays; implement corrective actions.
• Manage subcontract and client monthly pay applications, amendments, and required notifications.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining client relationships and timely responses.
• Track and manage labor, equipment, and material costs for ongoing projects.
• Lead and supervise the Superintendents, ensuring overall performance.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to determine manpower and schedules for upcoming projects.
• Prepare accurate monthly billings based on current job completion status.
• Complete monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reporting.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Responsible for the financial health of assigned projects, ensuring profitability while meeting contractual obligations.
• Oversee project progress, proactively identifying potential roadblocks, delays, or issues; implement immediate corrective actions accordingly.
• Proficiently manage subcontract and client monthly pay applications, subcontract amendments, and necessary written notifications governing the work.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while cultivating and maintaining client relationships; ensure timely responses to urgent situations.
• Track and manage labor, equipment, and material costs associated with ongoing projects.
• Lead and supervise the Superintendents, holding accountable for overall performance.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to determine proper manpower and schedules for upcoming projects.
• Prepare accurate monthly billings based upon current job completion status.
• Complete monthly WIP (Work in Progress) reporting.
• Lead, manage, exhibit, and hold accountable to the core values of Dedicated, Integrity, Pursuit of Excellence, and Team Player.

Experience And Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project management
• Prior commercial and/or retail painting experience
• Exceptional communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team player
• Proficiency with construction management software (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Eclipse, and/or Procore experience is a plus)
