Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist to join our Warrendale, PA team.

You will partner with Project Managers to forecast finances in Syteline and act as the link between project management and financial outcomes. Responsibilities include creating forecasts, tracking budgets, monitoring margins, and ensuring compliance across invoicing, taxes, and cost/revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting; 5+ years in accounting or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting procedures and company-specific systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present results to management.
• Proficiency with MS Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, track, and update monthly Revenue Cost Forecasts (RCFs) and invoice milestones.
• Monitor project margins, costs, risk, and revenue recognition for accuracy.
• Support contract execution, financial compliance, and document control throughout project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers, assistants, procurement to ensure compliant commercial execution.
• Create projects and bookings in Syteline; manage change orders and labor hour postings.
• Support audits and provide risk-reduction recommendations; ensure policy compliance.

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist to be based in our Warrendale, PA facility. Partner with Project Managers to create and manage project forecasting in Syteline and function as the liaison between the Project Manager and financial outcome of the project.

What You’ll Do:

• Create, review, track, and update monthly RCFs, (Revenue Cost Forecasts), invoice milestones, commission payments, support invoicing processes and report project budgets.
• Monitor project margins, costs, risk, and revenue recognition to ensure financial accuracy.
• Support contract execution and financial compliance and maintain accurate system documentation throughout project lifecycle.
• Work cross-functionally with project managers, project assistants, document control, and procurement to ensure successful and compliant commercial execution.
• Create Projects and Bookings in Syteline, process manage and track change order entries to projects as needed, and upload and post labor hours to projects.
• Support audit activities, provide risk-reduction recommendations, and ensure compliance with customer and corporate policies governing invoicing, taxes, foreign exchange, forecasting, and cost/revenue recognition.
• Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Substation Division through interaction with other MEPPI Divisions and vendors.
• Know MEPPI’s Quality and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, and minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting or related environment, or equivalent education and experience.
• Developed knowledge of project accounting procedures and company-specific accounting system/procedures.
• Developed verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate results with project and senior management groups.
• Developed knowledge of computer systems and reporting tools with emphasis on MSOffice products.
